KNOWAtlanta Visits the Harbor Club at Lake Oconee

Harbor Club at Lake Oconee's Southern Living Inspired Home

KNOWAtlanta recently got a chance to explore Harbor Club at Lake Oconee and enjoy the expansive lake views, friendly neighbors and homes inspired by Southern Living magazine. The newly-constructed Southern Living Inspired Home is a furnished, four-bedroom luxury house that is open to visitors, and there is no better way to see the beautiful exterior and unique interior of the home than a to schedule a personal tour.

The Southern Living Inspired Community designation is an honor given to neighborhoods for being marked by charm, taste, and Southern spirit. Harbor Club at Lake Oconee ranks among these communities for its open floor plans, impeccable interior details and panoramic views of the golf course, lake or forest. The Southern Living Inspired model home received this accolade by having decor and landscaping that embodies classy Southern flair with modern European luxury, and KNOWAtlanta got the opportunity to see it all firsthand.

The master bathroom features brass finishes and rustic yet elegant details.

During our visit, we got to tour the Southern Living Inspired Home, which featured an impressive chandelier, unique artwork, a flawless white marble bathroom and wonderful landscaping. The home also features vintage sliding doors, exposed wooden beams, airy light brown flooring and lantern exterior lighting.

The housing plan, called the Woodmere, was constructed by the Harbor Club at Lake Oconee's in-house homebuilding company, Patriot Builders. There are four bedrooms and bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, shiplap walls, quartz countertops and professional kitchen appliances. A covered, outdoor fire pit and patio round out the house for a perfect forest getaway to enjoy the company of neighbors and friends.
